Advance The Cure

A Non-Profit Supporting Cystic Fibrosis Research

Advance the Cure was founded by the Jack family to support their son Tucker and others plagued by Cystic Fibrosis.  Tucker was diagnosed in 2008 prior to birth through genetic testing.  He is one of three children in the Jack family and the only child with the disease.  His twin sister and older sister are very supportive of his care and daily regimen that is required to stay healthy with CF.

Tucker is the beneficiary of several medications developed with the help of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  The latest blockbuster drug Trikafta is making the biggest impact on his quality of life and health.  This medication is a treatment, not a cure.  We thank the Lord every day for this miracle drug that is the treatment for 80% of the 70,000 worldwide CF patients.

The progress of the CF Foundation is the best story in medicine and much progress has been made that the Jack family and Tucker have benefited from.  Our work as a family to support and nurture research and cure CF is not over.  We will continue the fight against this disease until it is cured once and for all.
